The self-contained guest house features a blue, ceramic tiled
solar heating swimming pool. Located about 100 feet from the villa, the guest
house may be accessed either along the garden path from the villa, or through
the garden gates leading from the separate lower driveway. The house is a very
large conically shaped room with a cathedral type ceiling supported by massive
antique wooden beams. Four large French doors open onto the gardens, fishpond
and swimming pool. In this main room there are a pair of oversized rattan sofas
that make up into a pair of very comfortable twin beds. There is a separate twin
bed that can accommodate an additional guest, a dining area with an antique
Italian marble dining table that
seats 6, raised fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, a stereo with tape player, CD
and a TV connected by remote control to the satellite system and VCR. The dark
blue, ceramic tiled heated pool is 15 feet wide by 45 long and is maintained at
a constant temperature at 77 degrees F/25 degrees Celsius. In the garden area
around the pool, there is a large, round, stone table with an umbrella from
alfresco dining, lounge chairs, and a hammock. The pool and garden are well
lighted. The Guest House has an outdoor gas barbeque built into the exterior
side of the fireplace, and there is an outdoor shower on the east side of the
house adjacent to the bathroom.
